More about Elle:
"A voice that hovers between the dramatic highs of Mariah Carey and the subtle shadings of Norah Jones. It’s rhythm-and-blues meets pop with a dash of sparkle. And that’s what her voice has---Sparkle. She enchants her audiences with her own mix of rhythm and blues, pop and jazz, delivering songs that resonate in your soul”. - Frank Quattrone, Town & Country Living Magazine
This songbird wasn't even born when Ella Fitzgerald blessed our ears with her soulful jazz ballads, but when the Ghanaian native heard her smooth vocals as well as those of Aretha, Etta, and other pioneers alike, she immediately knew she had found the cornerstone of her signature sound.
Throughout her musical career journey, Elle has achieved significant accomplishments. She has a station on Pandora Radio, where she has been grouped with artists such as Mary J. Blige, and Alicia Keys. Elle has also shared the stage with some of music’s greats including Wyclef Jean, Teena Marie, and Philly’s own Carol Riddick. Some of Elle’s own major headlining venues include the legendary Warmdaddy’s Restaurant, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and several Philadelphia area music festivals.
Elle’s recently released First Full-length CD, “Through The Looking Glass”, is already making a big mark on the music scene! She brings a soulful and intimate vibe to this album. Throughout 2018, you can catch Elle performing all over PA and the Tri-State area, often with her band, “The John Doe Band”.
